CITY COMMISSION MINUTES:
8. Approval of the minutes of the regular meeting held February 12, 2007, and the closed meeting held February 12, 2007.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
9. Conduct public hearing on request from Antler Development Co., LLC for an Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption Certificate (PA 198) for property at 1790 Gover Parkway.
10. Conduct public hearing on the necessity of Special Assessment District No. 2-07: reline sewer leads on Broadway Street from Main to Lansing; consider Resolution No. 3 to proceed with the improvements; consider Resolution No. 4 to accept the special assessment roll; and set public hearing for March 12, 2007 regarding said roll.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS AND REPORTS:
* 11. Consider final approval of traffic control orders:
#8-06: Remove “Taxi Parking” signs and install Three-Hour Parking signs on the east side of Court Street north of Broadway.
#9-06: Change the parking on the North side of Broadway Street, from Pine Street to Washington Street, to Three-Hour Parking.
#10-06: Change parking signs in downtown parking lot 10 from Permit Parking to Ten-Hour Parking.
#11-06: Change parking signage in downtown parking lots 3, 4, 5 and 6 from Three-Hour Parking to Ten-Hour Parking.
#12-06: Install “NO PARKING 4 a.m. to 6 a.m.” signs on streets within the boundary of Mosher to Illinois – Lansing to Pine, around Main Street to Broadway West (Pine Street).
12. Consider adoption of Zoning Ordinance amendment to permit conditional rezoning.
* 13. Receive City requests for Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe two percent allocations.
14. Introduce an ordinance to amend Title IX, Chapter 98, Streets And Sidewalks, of the Code of Ordinances, to prohibit soliciting on streets and impeding traffic, and set public hearing on same for March 12, 2007.
15. Set public hearing on Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund grant application for March 12, 2007.
16. Set public hearing on Access Recreation grant application for March 12, 2007.
17. Receive request to vacate a portion of Broadway Street right-of-way west of Bradley Street, and set public hearing on same for March 26, 2007.
18. Consider payment to James Tischler for preparation of Brownfield district.
19. Consider closed session to discuss pending litigation.
