Minutes of the special meeting of the City Commission held Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at 5:00 p.m., in the City Commission Room.
Mayor Bradley Kilmer opened the meeting at 5:00 p.m. and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Commissioners Present: Mayor Bradley Kilmer and Vice Mayor Spycher; Commissioners Bissell, Holton, Joslin and Tilmann
Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Moreno
Others Present: City Manager Grinzinger and City Clerk Flynn
Commissioners were given a presentation on the Proposed 2007 Budget by City Manager Grinzinger and Finance Director Ridley.
Presentation included: background and philosophy; budget 101; details of 2007 budget and next steps for process.
Commissioners asked follow-up questions and presented staff with information to be researched for future meetings.
Future meetings on the budget will be held on October 23rd and November 13th.
Commissioners praised staff for their informative presentation.
Moved by Commissioner Holton and supported by Commissioner Tilmann that the meeting adjourn at 6:17 p.m. Motion unanimously adopted.
