It is recommended that citizens not contact individual Planning Commission members with concerns about specific issues, particularly requests for rezoning or special use permits, because of the potential for conflict of interest. Citizens should consider one of the following avenues to address their concerns:

1. Attend the public hearing on the issue so that everyone (Planning Commission members and citizens) can equally receive the benefit of each other's concerns or insight.

2. Submit concerns in writing to Tony Kulick, City Planner, 401 N. Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858. Copies of all correspondence are provided to Planning Commission members.
