Zoning Board of Appeals

The Mt. Pleasant Zoning Board of Appeals is a seven-member (6 regular members and 1 alternate) citizen advisory board responsible for hearing appeals on decisions regarding enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance. Board members are appointed by the City Commission and serve staggered three-year terms without pay.

Meeting Information

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets the 4th Wednesday of each month. All meetings are held at 7 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers at Mt. Pleasant City Hall, 320 W. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant. Please call 989-779-5347 if you need additional information.

Meetings can also be viewed on Channel 188 as follows:

Live: 4th Wednesday monthly, 7 p.m.

Rebroadcast: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 5 p.m. and Sunday 8 p.m. (for two weeks following the meeting)
