Pleasant may have an internship opportunity for you. Your skills and education will be put to use as you work side by side and gain real-world experience with well-respected and successful recreation professionals all while planning and delivering quality recreation opportunities to the Mt. Pleasant community.
General Summary: Under the general direction of the Recreation Coordinators, assists in the planning and supervision of recreation programs, special events, and activities; on-site coordination of youth and adult activities; equipment ordering, distribution, and inventory; program advertisement, and additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Major in Recreation or closely related field with experience in supervising and organizing a variety of programs. Must have the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Candidate must be able to work successfully with co-workers, volunteers, participants, parents, and the general public. Must provide own transportation.
Hours Per Week: 20-40
Internship Duration: 15 or 30 weeks
Pay Rate: $200 per Month
