Volunteer of the Month
Lynnia Ford has been selected as Mt. Pleasant Parks & Recreation's Volunteer of the Month for April. Lynnia is a senior at Central Michigan University studying Interior Design & Event Management. Lynnia is completing a field work experience, serving more than 80 hours this spring semester.
She puts her many talents to use creating photo backdrops for the Great Egg Scramble, designing miniature golf Minecraft character obstacles for the Winter Kids Expo and serving as event staff for the Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt.
Lynnia has a sunny disposition. She has a great rapport with participants, interns and recreation staff. She is a valued member of our recreation team this semester.
Volunteers are an essential resource for Mt. Pleasant Parks & Recreation. They keep programs ticking and ensure their success through selfless giving of time and talents.
