The Great Egg Scramble
The Great Egg Scramble is held annually each spring. Children ages 2-10 scramble for plastic toy and candy filled eggs, candy, and prizes. Crafts, games & refreshments are all part of the festivities! Admission is free; canned good donations are accepted and benefit Isabella Community Soup Kitchen.

Daddy-Daughter Date Night

Celebrate special relationships & cherished memories at Mt. Pleasant Parks & Recreation's Daddy-Daughter Date Night. A special evening of music, dancing, prizes and shared activities awaits young ladies of all ages and their Dads or other favorite escort. Daddy-Daughter Date Night is held annually the end of January/beginning of February.
Farmers' Market
You'll love the quality and selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and more that area farmers have to offer at the weekly Farmers' Market. The Farmers' Market is held each Thursday from June through October at Island Park. Also, each Saturday from June through September at Town Center in Downtown Mt. Pleasant. Project Fresh Coupons are accepted.
Free Family Tennis Fun Day
Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation and the Midland Community Tennis Center have partnered to offer the Free Family Tennis Fun Day each May at the Island Park Tennis Courts. If you have never played or have played just a little, come out and experience the game of a lifetime. All participants will be introduced to the basics of the game in a fun and enjoyable environment. Tennis racquets and balls will be provided if you do not have your own.
Mom & Son Adventures
Moms & Sons alike will enjoy and remember this great family time activity for years to come. It's always something new and exciting because the theme and the venue change annually; past themes have included: Fishing Frenzy, Western Round Up, At the Movies, Snow Tubing, Mystery Dinner Theatre, Camp Out Adventure, Olympics, Amazing Race.
Mt. Pleasant Summer Festival Singles Shuffleboard Tournament
The Singles Shuffleboard Tournament is held annually during Mt. Pleasant Summer Festival at the shuffleboard courts at Island Park. The two-day tournament features Main and Consolation events. Registration is on-site.
National Parks & Recreation Month Photo Contest
July is National Parks & Recreation Month! The next time you set out to enjoy Mt. Pleasant's parks, bring along your camera and take pictures! MPPR's Photo Contest is open to amateur photographers of any age. Submit your best photos to win great prizes!
Princess & Superhero Party
Once upon a time... is the beginning to many fairy-tales. Why stop there? Make your child's dream of happily ever after come true by attending the Princess & Superhero Party! Dress up like your favorite superhero or princess. This enchanted afternoon will feature superhero games, magical crafts, the Royal Court Parade, refreshments and party favors. This event is held annually each spring.
Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt
Hundreds of candy filled eggs will be waiting for teens and their flashlights at Island Park each spring! Come for a night of fun, food, and amazing prizes. Find special eggs and win really cool prizes including: gift cards for food, music, movie passes or maybe even the grand prize!

Teen Lock-In
Join us for an overnight party including: games, food, crafts, and many more fun activities just for teens. This is a FREE event held annually each summer in partnership with the Chippewa River District Library.
Turkey Shoot Out
Don't be a chicken! Come take a "foul shot" at the Turkey Shoot for a chance to win cool PRIZES. Have fun while supporting a good cause; stocking the shelves with canned food donations for the Isabella Community Soup Kitchen.
