Millpond Park History

 2000-2002:    Eastside river trail installed 2763 feet, Eastside wetland overlook trail added 877 feet.

 2001: Renovate existing trail to barrier free, two walking bridges were installed, fishing deck added, two walk-down canoe landings added, pond excavation, overlook observation deck, new Millpond Park sign installed

 2002: Dam removal and river restoration with the construction of five weirs, Completed a trail system with three pedestrian bridges, constructed an observation platform and fishing deck, constructed a migratory bird pond, constructed a new Leaton Street entrance with parking at the north end of the park

 2003: Playground replacement, two additional swing sets, slide land
