  • Commercial: Basic Communications at 222 N. Mission
Basic Communications received a complete façade renovation by utilizing the Downtown Development Authority façade rendering and interest write down programs. The renovation was completed using durable building materials such as brick and fiber cement panels. Architectural details including a cornice were added. This renovation increased the presence and visibility of the building on a corner lot on north Mission.

“Not only do the property owners and tenants benefit from the improvements that were made, these projects also provide positive contributions to the image of the neighborhoods and the City as a whole,” said Jeff Gray, Director of Planning and Community Development for the City of Mount Pleasant.

The awards were presented to the recipients at the April 9 City Commission meeting.
