Seasonal Maintenance Worker - Street Department
Pay Scale: $12.50 - $15.00 Per Hour

General Summary
Under the direction of an employee of a higher classification, performs limited unskilled and semi-skilled labor tasks in the construction and maintenance of public streets, facilities, and equipment. Will assist in the maintenance of streets, right-of-ways, and utilities. Operates a variety of hand and small power tools, light duty trucks, and power-driven equipment. Performs cleaning and routine maintenance tasks and other related work.Minimum Requirements
Education equivalent to completion of eleventh (11th) grade and at least six (6) months general laborer experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; possession of valid Michigan driver’s license and safe driving record; demonstrated proficiency in proper, safe, and efficient use of equipment and methods used in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and recreational activity areas; possession of necessary physical capabilities to safely perform related tasks; ability to maintain positive working relationships with the public, other employees, and alternative labor groups; ability to effectively understand, follow, and give oral and written instructions.Hours Per Week
