Mt. Pleasant's Police Department patrols approximately eight square miles with 28 sworn officers. Through on-going professional development, community partnerships, and a strong team environment, the Mt. Pleasant Police Department's main focus is on keeping Mt. Pleasant a safe community.
The mission of the Mt. Pleasant Police Department is to establish partnerships within the community, to implement new ideas and concepts, and to maintain a safe environment for all. The promotion of good will, community respect, trust, and confidence in the department will continue to be of the highest priority for all employees.
