Coneys for a Cause to benefit youth in central Michigan

June 8, 2015 - On June 10, 2015, the Pixie restaurant in Mt. Pleasant will be hosting the tenth annual “Coney’s for a Cause.”  All proceeds from this event will benefit the Mt. Pleasant Police Youth Services Unit and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Coney dogs will be sold for only $1.19.  You can also pre-order and have a YSU officer or Big Brother/Big Sisters representative deliver your order (minimum order of $18 is required).  The Annual Pixie Pig Out will take place at 7 p.m., so stop by and cheer on your favorite contestant.  Please come out and support these organizations.  All of the money raised will go back to our community and will help the youth of Isabella County.

Pre-order forms can be downloaded here and must be emailed to YCS no later than 3 p.m. on June 9. The $18 minimum must be met for delivery.

YCS is a partnership organization comprised of police officers, schools, parents, businesses and community members. It provides positive police role models and educational programs such as the Youth Police Academy and U.S. Navy Sea Cadet Program to help reduce and prevent crime.
