Large Item Pick Up

This program is available for residents who live within the City limits. Purchase your large item sticker in advance of your trash collection day. If you purchase stickers online, call the Treasurer’s Office at (989) 779-5387 and let them know how many stickers you purchased. Stickers may be picked up at City Hall, 320  W. Broadway. If you wish to have the large item sticker mailed to you, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Treasurer's Office or drop it off in the after-hours drop box. Please allow at least one-week for processing and mailing. The City is not responsible for lost, delayed or damaged stickers.

Place the sticker on your large item and set out at your designated collection point (alley or curbside) by 7:30 a.m. on your City trash collection day. Items containing Freon are not eligible. The guidelines of the large item sticker program are available for review here.

  • The City has partnered with a credit card processing agency to provide you the option to pay for large item stickers via credit or debit card. There is a $2 convenience fee applied to your credit card for this service.
  • Payments with checking or savings accounts are not charged the $2 convenience fee.
  • To pay online click the “Pay Now” button located at the bottom of this form. Under “Building Permit Number” enter the address where the large items will be located.
  • The address on the credit/debit card must match the billing address for that card.
If you have any questions, please contact the Public Works office at (989) 779-5401.
